Hi Sion, So glad you enjoyed your time here in the U.S., but I’m excited to hear from you back in Paris. Great pictures! Your friend has an amazing view. Wow! The new cafe looks enchanting–how is it? And I am always amazed at the architectural and artistic elements on Parisienne (Parisian?) buildings. That’s one of the things I am looking forward to most when I finally get there–just walking around and looking at all the buildings (inside and out!) My year is going great. I have resolved to live even more simply than I have, not stressing out over things out of my control, and enjoy what life brings my way. AND I am praying for a financial windfall that may bring my family to France this year (at least I can dream!).

        Hi Karene,

Great to hear from you! Glad 2013 is starting off well for you. Simplifying your life while still dreaming sounds like a great resolution! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that a France trip is in your future. Sounds like you’d have the perfect plan for discovering Paris…just walking around! Always my favorite way to get to know a city.

        Thanks as always for reading!

Many congratulations, Sion. I remember when you started your blog because you came and visited mine, which had already been going for about six months. I loved seeing your header (still there!), which is located at the Quai de Loire & which I recognized right away. I also loved (and still love) your approach to writing and the things you post about. It was great fun to meet you a couple of months later at the DL book signing… And then get to know you better from then on. 🙂 I’m so glad!

Look where the blog has gone since then. Wonderful stuff, although I have to say TIME FLIES, does it not? Seems like not so long ago, and in some ways it was not, but it sure did go fast.

I’m looking forward to learning about what 2013 holds for you, for the blog, for your writing, for your life. I think it is going to be a dynamic year, and I can’t wait to see what unfolds. 🙂

Best as you enter another blogging year, and I hope that we read of many good things!

    Hugs and kisses from Denver,

Thanks so much, Karin. Yours was one of the first Paris blogs I discovered and I’m glad it turned into a friendship.

I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown, though. It’s true!

I have good feelings about 2013, too. Love and light for all of us 🙂

paris (im)perfect?

Sion Dayson is paris (im)perfect. Writer, dreamer, I moved to France on – no exaggerating – a romantic whim. As you can imagine, a lot can go wrong (and very right!) with such a (non)plan. These are the (im)perfect stories that result.
